Everything you need for a trip to Georgia


Day 1: Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia 

Home for people with diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.   The name “Tbilisi” (derived from word warm) was given to the city because of the area’s numerous sulfuric hot springs.

- Meeting at Tbilisi airport

- Transfer to the hotel

- Breakfast at the hotel

- Sightseeing in old Tbilisi:

- Sameba Trinity - a magnificent cathedral erected on the top of Elia rock, the beautiful View where - you can see all panoramas of all historical parts of Tbilisi.

- Artistic Theatre Square of Gabriadze

- The Bridge of Peace. Glass Bridge through the river see both side panorama of Tbilisi. 

- The Asian type colored baths. Built on hot sulfur springs – a favorite place of Tbilisi citizens and foreign guests (A. Pushkin, A. Duma, A. Tolstoy).

- Visit Leselidze Street where side by side are locate Synagogue, Georgian and Armenian churches and Mosque, symbolizing religious diversity and tolerance.  

- Lunch – at Georgian café (optional)

- Georgian National Museum (optional). You can see the sensational unique discoveries and artifacts of ancient period, archaeological treasures.

- Welcome Dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant with unforgettable folk music, dance and delicious Georgian cuisine.

- Overnight in Tbilisi. 


Day 2: Tbilisi – Signagi, Kakheti region (120 km from Tbilisi +60 km to Telavi)

Drive along the “Wine Route”, through the beautiful landscape of vineyards and wine-producing villages.

- Breakfast at the Hotel

- Sighnaghi Town of love:  is built on the right bank of Alazani River, on a higher hill. Royal fortified town (XVIII c.)  With narrow streets surrounded by the defensive walls with 23 towers.  Here was   a place where the Georgian King used to join the army before the battle.  

- Lunch in restaurant “Kabadoni” (optional). The most delicious Georgian dishes that are cooked with local, natural, fresh, seasonal products.

- Sightseeing in Sighnaghi: Historical-Ethnographic Museum, where extraordinary ethnographic,      archaeological and medieval materials are kept (expectable only first floor).

- The defensive wall surrounding Sighnaghi.  Because of the wall’s high location the beautiful view of Alazani Valley is well visible.

- Drive from Signage to Telavi (60KM)

- Dinner with Kakhetian regional food  

- Overnight in Telavi. Hotel “Alaznis veli”

Day 3: Telavi– Gremi (50 km round trip)

- Breakfast at the hotel

- Town Telavi. Administrative and cultural center of the region.  The town sits on a hilltop above the Alazani valley with the Caucasus Mountains in the background.

- Gremi castle – museum. The royal capital city and royal tower ensemble. Historically, one of the important trading centers of this region. 

- Lunch in lake-restaurant “Elegia” (optional)

- Visit wine corporation“KHAREBA”. Wine degustation

- The royal castle, the pantheon and the Persian-style Palace of King Erekle II (12th c.)

- Dinner in exotic restaurant with wine testing and regional traditional food (optional)

- Overnight in Telavi. Hotel “Alaznis Veli”

Day 4: Telavi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi (180km)

- Breakfast at the hotel

- Visit to wine museum and wine production company “SHUMI”. Wine degustation and Lunch;

- Mtskheta – town-museum. The ancient capital of Georgia. Known as “Holly Place”. Situated on a plain at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, the ancient trade silk route run here.

- Visit to local handmade souvenir bazaar

- Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th c.). One of the biggest Christian temples in Georgia. A sacred place, where the part of Christ’s robe is kept. UNESCO World Heritage site.

- Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 5:  Tbilisi – Gori (100 km round trip)

- Breakfast at the hotel

- Gori, the heart of Kartli region. Photo stop at the Stalin’s house-museum (feels like back in USSR).

- Uplistsikhe.  Ancient rock-hewn cave town-museum (1st millennium BC).  Literary translation means “The fortress of God”. Uplistsikhe once played an important role in Georgian history. It is remarkable for the unique combination of styles.

- Dinner in Gori

- Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 6:  Tbilisi – Kazbegi (150 km round trip)

- Kazbegi, currently called Stepantsminda.  A small town in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of northeastern Georgia. Historically and ethnographically, the town is part of the Khevi province. The town is located along the banks of the Tergi River.

- Gergeti Trinity Church (14 c.). Located on elevation of 2170 meters. Visitors can enjoy the wonderful views of Mt. Kazbek (5048) and surrounding mountains.

- Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 7: Departure. End of tour.

Prices per Person:

Group of 4 persons (wheelchair users) - 750 EUR.

Group of 7 persons - 700 EUR. (4 persons sitting in own wheelchair and 3 persons sitting in Bas suites, 3 wheelchairs packed in bus)
