In this small country you can find any kind of ski experience: starting from standard high snow quality pist ski resorts up to cat skiing, heli skiing, ski touring, alpine skiing.

Goderdzi Resort, was opened December 05, 2015. Its located two hours drive (110 km) from the popular seaside resort town of Batumi in Georgia, is ideally situated for the creation of a four-season mountain resort. At an elevation of 2000m, the mountains are snow-covered from November to April, while the gently rolling topography of the valley floor offers plentiful development zones. Sitting at around 1700m elevation, the resort base is below the tree line, offering an attractive and welcoming character throughout the seasons. The wilderness setting offers the visitor unique experiences, fresh-air and world-class scenery. Pristine forested mountains create a fantastic setting in the winter, summer and, most dramatically, when the autumn colors create an intense display. The resort currently offers 13 km of pistes, 700m vertical drop and two ski lifts. Further construction is intended, which will create a total of 35 km of pistes and 6 ski lifts

HOW TO GO TO GODERDZI

Goderdzi resort is usually accessible all year round.

Distance from Batumi - 100 km (2 hours); Kutaisi - 242 km (4 hours); Tbilisi - 450 km (7 hours)

Public Transport to Goderdzi

Currently there is no public transport going directly to the Goderdzi ski resort. It can be reached by taxi from Batumi or Akhaltsikhe, nearest big cities to the Goderdzi Pass. To go to Batumi or akhaltsikhe one can take a train (from central railway station), Bus or a minibus from Avlabari or Didube bus station.

You can get to Khulo center by public transport from Batumi. The bus departs from Batumi bus station every day (Bus station address: 1, Mayakovskii St. Tel: +995 422 27 85 47) Fare - 5 GEL.

From 2019, Goderdzi resort offers it visitors transportation by Kessborer machine from Adigeni (Zarzma Pass) to Goderdzi

WHAT TO DO AND WHERE TO STAY

The Goderdzi resort was opened in December of 2015, it's still under construction so infrastructure and leisure activities are pretty limited.

Activities

All year round in Goderdzi you can go hiking, horse-riding, biking and in winter on snowmobile tours. To hire a guide, horse, bike or a snowmobile talk to your hotel reception or just ask around in the area.

Food & Accommodation

Currently, the resort has 6 cottages, each of which can accommodate 12 people. There is also a hotel type cottage that can accommodate 36 people and hotel "Meteo", 4 km from Goderdzi Pass

Each cottage has 2 double and 2 quadruple (four -bed) rooms.

- Room 1. Double room with twin beds - 100 GEL

- Room 2. Double room with king size bed - 100 GEL

- Room 3. Quadruple room with a bunk bed and a twin bed - 150 GEL

- Room 4. Quadruple room with a bunk bed and a twin bed - 150 GEL

It can accommodate 36 people. It has 4 double rooms and 6 quadruple rooms. The double rooms have twin beds, quadruple rooms have bunk beds.
