Example of Trekking tour in Khevsureti region
SHATILI & RAFTING - 2 DAYS
Tour Type: Trekking tour + rafting
Location: Khevsureti Province
Distance: Walking 2-3 hours on mountain trail, 300km drive.
Tour Duration: 2 days
Tour Description: Exploration of medieval mountain villages Shatili, Mutso & Ardoti and 1.5 hour rafting on spectacular Aragvi River.
OPTION 1 - Night in Ancient Tower or Guesthouse
Day 1:
09:00 From Tbilisi depart to Shatili
11:00 Arrival aragvi adventure center, rafting, lunch
18:00 arrival at Shatili, exploring the area
Day 2:
08:00 After breakfast, Drive to Mutso & exploring the area
12:00 Walk to Ardoti village and exploration of the area, lunch
15:00 Drive back to Shatili and Tbilisi
End of tour.
OPTION 2 - Night in Tents
Day 1:
09:00 From Tbilisi depart to Shatili (5h)
14:00 Arrival at Shatili , lunch, exploring the area
15:00 Drive to Mutso & exploring the area
17:00 Setting up campsite. Overnight in tents.
Day 2:
08:00 After breakfast, walk to Ardoti village and exploration of the area
11:00 Drive to Shatili and to Aragvi Adventure Center
14:00 Late lunch at Aragvi Adventure Center
15:00 Rafting at Aragvi Adventure Center and return to Tbilisi
End of tour.
